Thinking Of Divorce Save Marriage With A Marriage Counselor

0

Are you thinking of divorce?  Save marriage by seeing a marriage counselor.  There are many therapists who say they do marriage counseling, but how do you know which ones are really good?  This article will give you a checklist of things to look for in a family therapist.
First of all, you want to see what their credentials are.  There are three basic classes of counselors.
The first is the Ph.D. or Psy.D. level counselor.  These people went to graduate school for a minimum of five years and wrote a dissertation.  In addition, they performed a minimum of 3000 hours of therapy under the supervision of an experienced psychologist.  In order to legally call yourself a “clinical psychologist” the person must have a doctoral level degree.  Ph.D.’s are often more academic in nature and tend to do scholarly and forensic work along with therapy.
Then there is the M.S.W.  This means Master of Social Work.  Social Workers are trained to apply social theory to specific situations.  They can work in institutions or with individuals.
Finally, there is the M.S. or M.A. in Counseling.  Often called a “Marriage and Family Therapist,” these people can only work with individuals or small groups in counseling situations.  They tend to have 2 year degrees and may not have written a thesis.  They have 1500 hours of therapy under supervision.
If you are using your insurance to cover your marriage counseling, your insurance company will probably direct you to an MSW or a Marriage and Family Therapist because they are less expensive.
Second, you have to determine what the price will be.  Clinical psychologists tend to be the most expensive while Marriage and Family Therapists are the least expensive.  Remember you are trying to stop divorce.  Save marriage by finding the best fit not the most (or least) expensive professional.
Look at the per session cost as well as the overall cost for the expected length of treatment.
Often, therapists working in groups or non profit institutions will have a sliding scale fee based on a couple’s income.  If you qualify, this might make counseling affordable when it otherwise might not be.
Third, you need to look at the policies the therapist has.  Some of these policies include:
· What happens if you miss or cancel a session?
· Can you take a pre-planned vacation without having to pay for the session?
· Will the therapist accept calls outside of the normal session?  Do they accept calls at home or just at the office?
· Is there an alternative person you can call in an emergency?
A family counselor should help you put your family back together so that you don’t have split up.  Saving your marriage should be their ultimate goal.  If you don’t feel that you are in synch with your counselor, move on and find someone who can keep you from divorce and save marriage.

The Relationships Wife Keep Her Happy

0

If you’re the relationships wife, you know you’re not in an easy position. You might feel put upon, as if everything from the home to some of the income is your responsibility. For years men worked while the wife took care of hearth and home. Today’s relationships wife is supposed to work and do it all with a smile on her face!
But you can’t do it all, and you can’t have it all. At least you can’t without personal sacrifice and exhaustion. Add saving your relationship and preserving your marriage into the mix, and it’s a sure recipe for fatigue and depression.
When things have gone wrong in your relationship, you should remember that you’re not solely responsible for fixing them. He plays a part, too, and you should let him do equal duty or at least some of it. Everything that happens, good or bad, is not only because of the relationships wife.
And if you’re the husband and the idea of keeping her happy seems daunting, you must remember that you’re not solely responsible for her happiness either. You can contribute to it, and it’s pretty easy for you to ruin it, but whether or not she’s a happy person in general is mainly up to her.
It’s important for the relationships wife to understand that men and women have different needs. This is important for the husband to realize, too. When you’re trying to heal your marriage, it might be a good idea for both of you to read books that talk about the differences between men and women.
John Gray’s books about Mars and Venus are good for pointing out the very different ways men and women feel nurtured in a relationship. They also point out how differently men view emotional things than women, and how each sometimes has an approach that’s directly opposite of what the other person may want.
Even if you feel like you share things equally and have a very balanced relationship, you might discover that it’s not. The relationships wife will tend to fall into certain roles, just as the husband does. Reading books about these differences can be an eye opening experience.
Even if your spouse isn’t interested in reading such books, you should give them a try. It’s not easy to  heal a relationship when only one person seems to do all the work. But if you make an effort, very often it makes such a difference that the other person can’t help but change either.
It can be an unconscious thing, in fact. By learning the best way to approach your spouse about certain issues, or understanding the way he or she naturally deals with things, it makes you a more thoughtful and respectful partner.
That alone is enough to affect the other person’s behavior and make things better. You shouldn’t have to do everything, but this is one thing you must take upon yourself. Whether you’re the relationships wife or the husband, you’re capable of helping heal the relationship.

Saving A Relationship

0

Saving a relationship might seem like a hopeless task for some women. They worry endlessly that their relationship is falling apart and no matter what they do, their partner seems to be pulling further and further away from them. In an effort to pull their relationship back together, many people try to talk to their partner to find out whats wrong or what could be changed, but unfortunately these tactics can sometimes end up driving your partner even further away.
There are some psychologically proven principles you can put to good use for you when youre saving a relationship. Most relationships move through several phases as they progress. The initial phases of attraction are based on mutual enjoyment of each others company. Your intimacy levels are high and you both want to spend more and more time with each other.
The key to keeping any relationship at the same electrically charged emotional levels they were at when you first met isnt what youd expect. The key to saving a relationship is attraction.
Many women begin trying to analyze every word their partner has said and the tone of his voice while he said it, trying to find a meaning behind why hes pulling away. They try to make sure they spend even more time with him, insist on knowing or finding out what hes doing when hes not with you or even forcing him to stop acting a certain way in an effort to make the relationship feel more stable.
In reality, these actions are driving you further apart instead of saving a relationship that was once great fun to be a part of. If youre serious about putting your relationship back on track and keeping it that way, then there are some things youll need to think about.
1.  Back to the Beginning
Think about what aspect of you your partner fell in love with when you first met. Most men will say they fell in love with a woman who was fun, happy, bubbly, confident, independent and smart. Many women will say they fell in love with a happy, confident, funny, sensitive guy.
When you first met, you would have been working hard to make sure your partner enjoyed the time he spent in your company. As you became more familiar with each other, you felt secure that you didnt need to work quite so hard. Ask yourself whats changed about each of you since you first met.
2. Attraction
As mentioned before, the key to saving a relationship is attraction. When youre attracted to your partner and hes attracted to you, its natural you both want to spend more time in each others company.  As you become more familiar with each other, the effort it takes to look good and behave in a fun manner falls away.
Attraction isnt always physically based. Many people are attracted to confidence and independence. Think carefully about what attracted your partner to you originally. This is the key to making your partner fall in love with you all over again.
3. Communication
Effective communication when youre working on saving a relationship doesnt mean sitting down and talking over all the problems in the relationship for hours at a time. In fact, this could break your relationship even further apart.
You need to remember the type of conversations you had when you first met. Most frequently they would have been happy, light-hearted conversations that made you both feel good and made you both enjoy the time you spent together. Its natural for any human on the planet to avoid situations that make them feel bad, so try to find ways to communicate that make you both remember how much you enjoy each others company.

Relationship Breakup

0

Ease the Pain of a Relationship Breakup Right Now

A relationship breakup is one of the hardest things most people will ever have to do Indeed, most studies on stress show that a divorce ranks even higher on the stress scale than losing a loved one. Most people dont have any idea how to properly handle a relationship breakup.

The end of a relationship will always be painful, even if its one that needs to be broken up. Youve spent a lot of time and emotion with this person, and even if youre the one doing the breaking up, its going to come with a lot of hurt feelings.

Obviously, this going to be even worse if youre the one being broken up with. A relationship breakup that you dont want or expect is a horrible event. What you have to keep in mind is that a relationship needs two people in it. You may want it to go on, but if the other person has checked out, you may have to consider that the relationship needed to end.

Still there are techniques you can use to ease the pain of a relationship breakup. Im going to outline several techniques that have been proven to help relieve the pain of a broken heart and move you past the hurt.
Step One: Figure Out Why

You need to know why the relationship ended. This doesnt matter if you were the one doing the breaking up or the one being broken up with. Either way you need to do some soul searching to find out what the reasons were behind the breakup. If you have some questions about why you broke up, then youre never going to be able to move beyond the relationship breakup.

Step Two: Get Rid of Reminders
You need to get some space between you and the person youve broken up with. This means that you cant go to bed each night hanging on to your exs old sweater. You need to clean the deck and get your mind off of them. You need to make a clean break, so you need to put away all the little reminders.

Step Three: Positive People
There are negative people in the world and there are positive people. If youve just experienced a relationship breakup, youre going to find that you are in a very negative place. What you need to do is find the most upbeat and positive people you can and spend as much time with them as possible. In combination with the previous two steps, this will put you in the right place to move.

Step Four: Start Dating Again
The final step in recovering from a relationship break up is to start dating other people. The thing you need to keep in mind is that you are not trying to replace your ex, youre just trying to start seeing the world as a place without them. So you need to see other people and get out there. Dont look at every date as a new chance at love, just look at them as a way to get your mojo back.

The four steps will have you over your relationship breakup in no time flat. But keep in mind; you dont necessarily have to get over a break up. Sometimes good relationships fall apart for the wrong reasons, and you can fix the damage. You just need to find the right plan.

Saving The Scorpio Woman Relationship

0

So you’ve made up and you’re back in a Scorpio woman relationship. That the Scorpio has agreed to try again is a very good thing, because often when people under this sign end something, it’s for good. Understanding the sign and its tendencies can help you heal your Scorpio woman relationship and make it last.

Now that you’re fixing the relationship, look back at what caused the problem. Was there cheating involved? If you cheated, or she thought you were cheating, understand that in the Scorpio woman relationship the potential for jealousy is very high.

This sun sign is possessive and jealous by nature. It’s flattering to have someone feel that way about you, to an extent. But when it’s taken to extremes it can make the relationship very tense and the amount of trust between you can suffer.

Scorpios are one of the signs more prone to obsession than any other. So if your woman becomes obsessed with the idea that you’ll cheat again, it’s going to be a hard mountain to climb for you to convince her otherwise. You have to be willing to give it a lot of time, and deal with a lot of suspicion.

If she cheated and has seen the error of her ways, try not to be too possessive or act too jealous now. It’s all right for her to know how hurt you were and the damage that it caused. But if you mistrust everything she does now, she’ll soon decide the relationship can’t be saved, even if she wants to stay with you.

Something to keep in mind in a Scorpio woman relationship is that Scorpios don’t like to be wrong. If she thought you were perfect or that you would never do something that you did, it goes beyond her being hurt. You proved she’d made a mistake, which is never easy for a Scorpio.

Any time a Scorpio makes a mistake or is wrong about something, she’ll admit it if she sees the clear evidence. So when she makes a mistake, give her time to realize it on her own. And do your best not to prolong it or keep pointing it out. She’ll appreciate that more than you know.

When you’re making up with this sun sign, you might tend to tiptoe a bit. Because of Scorpio’s volatile nature, you might worry that one wrong move could lead to another break up, this time for good.

But one of the worst things that can happen in the relationship is for the Scorpio to get bored. Boredom, for some born under his sign, is often worse than things going wrong! At least when things are going wrong there’s activity and movement.

When things are plain boring, though, that can be worse to a Scorpio than when there’s lots of conflict in the air. Scorpios enjoy challenge, debate and even argument. So when you’re healing your Scorpio woman relationship, don’t be so afraid of making a mistake that you’re afraid to make any move at all.

Relationship Questions You Need To Ask

0

If you want to fix your relationship, then you need to ask the right question. Relationship repair can be tricky in the best of times, which is why you need to know the right questions, relationship questions, to get the information you need to repair what has been broken.

This is not necessarily an easy thing to do. Most of us wont want to ask these questions, relationship problems or not. This is because the natural human reaction to things is to try and avoid the problem as much as possible.

But relationship problems will not fix themselves. You need to make the effort to fix them, not wait for your ex to magically come around. You are the one who has realized there is a problem, and this means that you have to be the one to do the work to fix it. Whether you like it or not, its become your responsibility.
Which brings us to the questions. Relationship questions are not easy to ask, but the answers will be worthwhile. This is the information you need to do the work that will bring you back to having a healthy relationship with your girlfriend or boyfriend, husband or wife.

Question One: What Do You Want?
This is a question you need to ask yourself and your significant other. You need to ask yourself because you need to be able to know and articulate what it is you want from your relationship. You need to ask them so that you know that the things you want from the relationship are, if not the same, then at least compatible.

Question Two: What Were Our Best Times?
This is another question designed to get you looking at how the two of you view your relationship. If you both view different times in your relationship as the best times, this will give you a very strong indication of where things went wrong, which is the point of these questions. Relationship is based on knowing what these questions will tell you.

Question Three: What Dont You Like?
Again, this is a question both of you need to ask. This is an area where it is crucial that you dont assign blame or allow your emotions to be hurt. You need to take a full inventory of where you stand and knowing what it bothering both of you is essential.

Question Four: Where are we Heading?
The point of this is question is to see where you both think the relationship should and where it will go. Without knowing this, you wont know how bad the relationship is. If your partner thinks that the relationship is doomed to failure, this is information you need to know.

The point of doing all this is to find the true answers to these questions. Relationship rescue will be much easier when you have this information, because it will give a roadmap of the problems you need to resolve to have a stronger relationship. This is only the beginning, and you should seek out and find the information that will allow you to overcome these problems.

Saving A Relationship 3 Tips For Doing So

0

Whether youve recently broken up, or youre afraid youre on the brink of a breakup  you can take heart,  saving a relationship is possible.  You can reignite the flame that the two of you once shared.  It wont necessarily be easy or fast, but if youre committed to making it work there is hope.
Ive compiled a list of some of the things you need to do to salvage and repair your relationship.  Keep these tips in mind when you are analyzing your relationship:
1.  Do you really want to stay in the relationship?  I know this may sound like a dumb question but sometimes when we think we want to keep our relationship what we really mean is that were afraid of having to find someone new, or starting over.  If youre brutally honest with yourself you can determine if you really want to continue the relationship or if youre just scared of being on your own.
Another part of this question is to determine if your partner really wants to work on the relationship too.  Even if you decide that your relationship is worth saving, that doesnt mean your partner shares your conviction or will be willing to invest the time and effort to work on your problems.
2.  Honestly evaluate what went wrong in your relationship. Again, this will need to be done by both of you.  This can be the hardest part, its always easier to blame someone else for the problems but its tougher to own up to your part in the break down of your relationship.
Before you can repair it you need to know not only what is broken but why it broke.  The two of you may even want to visit a couples counselor to help you objectively work through this phase.  Sometimes having an objective third party in the room can help you both stay calm and face things you may not have been willing or able to face on  your own.
3. Try to remember what drew you to each other in the first place.  If youve been in a relationship for a while you obviously loved and enjoyed each other.  So often in a relationship what happens is that the stronger one (or the most selfish one) controls the relationship. They become the one who tends to take more than they give.  The other partner will take on the role of the giver.  Over time the taker will get bored because the fun loving person they fell in love with has become a doormat and the giver will get sick of not getting their needs met often enough.
If your relationship has fallen into this trap you both need to take a step back and remember what attracted you to each other.  This might be a good time to not only remember but to tell the other person.  Remind them why you fell in love with them, and vice a versa.
Saving a relationship will take time, work, and commitment by both parties, but it can be done.  If you think your relationship is worth saving and your partner thinks so too, than by all means, follow the tips above and you can salvage your relationship.

Using reverse psychology in your relationships

0

From Reverse psychology in relationships:

Before you can put reverse psychology into practice, you first have to understand what it actually is. If used incorrectly it simply wont work, or could end up making a situation worse.

Simply put, reverse psychology is the mind-bending technique of giving somebody the impression you want a particular outcome, when in fact you want the opposite.

Rebound Relationships How To Improve The Chances Of Success

0

People often say rebound relationships don’t work. I don’t agree as there are plenty of happy couples out there who met shortly after breaking up with someone else.

So what defines a rebound relationship? Usually it is where someone starts going out with another person very soon after leaving or being left by a former lover. If you have met somebody who seems to tick all the boxes you were looking for in a partner, I certainly would not dump them.  Yes, they could dump you, but so could anyone new that you meet; so why worry about it. You could just as easily be the person they have been looking for.

Relationships break down for all sorts of reasons. It is actually more common for two people to grow apart rather than separate due to an affair or similar reason. If your current partner split from his/her ex, they did it for a reason. If they had been together for a long time, they probably grew apart. Or they may have realised that once the initial attraction had worn off, they were not compatible enough to sustain a long term relationship.

If your new lover has just recently rejoined the single scene, you do need to be a little careful. But you would proceed slowly when dating any new person; wouldn’t you?  Try to find out why they split with their partner, but for heaven’s sake, don’t make them feel like they are being interrogated. Men in particular are very slow to speak about their feelings. If he doesn’t want to talk about it, do not jump to the conclusion that he doesn’t like you or find you attractive.

I would also advise against asking to see a picture of the former partner. You do not want to start comparing yourself to them and it is difficult not to do this when you know what they look like. If you are part of the same social circle, it could be even harder not to draw comparisons. If you don’t do it yourself, you may find some of your mutual friends do. Try to discourage/ignore these conversations as they are unhelpful. Nobody knows what  happened between a couple other than those two people.

If you are the one on the rebound you need to be sure of your motivation for getting involved. Are you looking for a short fling or a long term love affair?  Whatever you do, don’t get involved with another man to make your ex jealous or for revenge. It rarely works and it isn’t fair to play with the new persons emotions.
You may find, just like I did, that your rebound relationship never ends and in fact turns into the love affair of the century. We all need some more fun in our life so try to enjoy yourself with your new partner and see where it leads.  Whoever says you should avoid rebound relationships is missing out on a whole lot of fun.

How To Survive An Affair Relationships That Last

0

After an affair, relationships can be hard to mend. The most essential part of any relationship is trust, and if youve cheated this bond is broken. The good news is that it is possible for a relationship to come back from cheating. The bad news is that you are going to have to work for it.
The first thing you need to do is swear off affair relationships. This is not a guide on how to cheat on your partner. If youre going to continue to cheat, then these guidelines will not be of much help to you. If youre willing to do the work, then these tips will help you repair your relationship.
The first thing you to need to do is admit your affair. Relationships are built on trust, and you cant have trust when youre lying to the other person. Not telling them is lying, a lie of omission. You need to tell them if they dont know, even though it is going to hurt.
Aside from general honesty, which is always a virtue, there is a practical side to this as well. If they dont know, they will find out, and its better that you take the bullet now rather than add to the pain when they do find out. If you try to keep it a secret, youre going to torpedo the relationship.
The next thing you need to do is to take the blame. You may feel that your partner did something to drive you to cheat. We also all have natural tendency to rationalize our behavior, to explain ourselves by coming up with an excuse. But the reality is that it is you that cheated, you that the affair. Relationships arent built by blaming your partner for your mistakes. Take the blame and move on.
Then you need to apologize. What youre looking for here is a complete admission and a sincere apology. You need to make sure that they know that you are truly repentant and regret what you did. Dont try to explain, just let them know how you feel.
Once youve done that, you need to give them some space. They are going to react, they are going to be hurt, and you cant push them into forgiving you any faster than they are going to already. Be there for them, but make sure that you dont push. They will be ready when they are ready, and if you try to push the issue then you are only going to succeed in pushing them further away.
After an affair, relationships are going to be different. The best thing you can do is to look at it as if you are starting the relationship all over again. Youre going to need to win back their trust, and this is a process that is going to take some time.
Fortunately, there are resources available to you to help you repair the relationship. It may be hard to admit to yourself that you need help, but using one of the systems can be the best relationship move youll ever make.

Openness To Healing Relationships

0

So many times people will find themselves in a relationship that used to be good, loving, and strong.  But somehow, somewhere, things changed.  Now they want to get that loving relationship back.  The first thing is making sure there is an openness to healing relationships.

Most relationships that have broken down have done so over a period of time and usually because of hurts, many of which have been small.  These hurts have accumulated over a period of time, though, and now theyve taken on a life of their own. Over time we tend to shut ourselves off from our partner because we dont want to be hurt anymore.  Once that happens you will need to make sure you can open up again and attempt to heal the relationship.   Before you decide that you are going to fix your broken relationship you have to make sure that you are willing to open yourself up to the possibility of more hurt.

And, its not just about you either.  Is your partner willing to open up and work on the relationship?  Many times one partner is more interested in salvaging the relationship than another.  If thats the case and your partner has made it clear, either by what theyve said or their overall attitude, that they have no interest in working very hard to save the relationship, you might as well call it quits. You cant do it all yourself and you cant force your partner to try.

If, on the other hand, you both agree that you will try to work on the relationship the first thing youll both need to do is look at yourselves.  You need to look at yourself and your partner needs to look at themselves. You are trying to honestly figure out what part youve played in the breakdown of the relationship and whether or not you will be committed to making the changes necessary to fix it.  Again, both of you have to admit their part in the break down of the relationship as well as be willing to try to change their behavior.
After all that the next thing you will both need to do is talk to each other.  This doesnt mean yelling, intimidating, or getting mad.  It means and open, adult discussion about how you are feeling.  You each have to be able to honestly speak your mind and explain what you think has happened, how you think it can be fixed, what you are willing to do to help fix it, and how you are feeling overall.

This step is vitally important and potentially very dangerous.  This is the part where someone could get hurt feelings and that could lead to a big blowout.  In order for this to work, its crucial that you both give the other person time to talk, and not get mad or defensive about what they have to say.

If you are sure you and your partner really have an openness to healing relationships, and youre wiling to work on the steps Ive listed here than the two of you will have a real shot at getting back to a place in your relationship where you can be happy to be together, and happy to be back to normal.

Secret Relationships Can They Work

0

Secret relationships sound exciting and adventurous, don’t they? Just having a secret is provocative, but when there’s romance and sex involved that makes the secret even juicier. Do you like know why secret relationships have such a big appeal, and that people wonder why you’re smiling all the time?

Secret relationships aren’t uncommon. But you should also realize that they don’t always work. In fact, having a relationship that’s a secret can put a huge strain on you as a couple. The odds of this type of relationship only lasting a short time are pretty high.

It can be more difficult than you think to go very long without talking about the relationship. If it weren’t secret, you would probably mention your partner throughout the day in casual conversation. Even just mentioning something you saw together or talked about would be a natural thing to do.

But in secret relationships, you have to keep yourself from doing that. You might find it on the tip of your tongue to talk about your partner and have to catch yourself all the time. Having to censor yourself several times a day can be quite a source of stress.

Add to that your partner’s feelings about having to do the same thing. Between the two of you, that can add up to a lot of tension.

There’s also the worry about being seen together. People in hush-hush relationships don’t have the luxury of going out go a great restaurant for dinner. They can’t go see the latest movie together, or walk down the road holding hands.

There are exceptions to this. If you’re keeping the relationship secret because you’re good friends and you don’t want people to know it’s become more, you can still be seen together. But you’ll have to give only appearance of friendship around others.

Some relationships are kept secret for that very reason. Friends have become more than that but dot’ want to “jinx” the relationship. Or they decide that their group of friends might not understand. And they think maybe keeping it a secret is a good idea in case things don’t work out. Then the friends would never have to know.

Many coworkers who start dating keep the secret for the same reason. Things would just be easier at work if other people didn’t know, both while it’s happening and in case it ends. And with work situations, such dating might be discouraged making the secret necessary.

But by keeping it a secret for those reasons, it’s as if you’re saying that it’s probably not going to work out. At least, you’re showing that you have serious doubts about it. How healthy does it seem to be in a relationship that you must believe won’t last, so much so that you’re keeping it a secret?

While the relationship might be thrilling at first and seem like an adventure, the best way to have secret relationships is with the understanding that they’ll only be secret for a short time.

How To Win Ex Girlfriend Back FOREVER

0

If you want to know how to win and get your ex girlfriend back, you are probably wanting to know how to win your ex-girlfriend back forever. You went through the pain once and you probably dont want to go through it again. You made mistakes, now its time to take a step back and evaluate the situation and figure out where to go from this point. Learning how to win ex girlfriend back may mean that you have to change the way you do things. You will have to take a FOREVER approach.

Fouled Up:
Admit that you did it. Admit that you made mistakes that cost you this relationship. You have to be able to own up to your mistakes and that means you have to own them. They were your mistakes, not anyone elses. Admit it. This is the best place to start if you want to know how to win ex girlfriend back.

Objectively Look At Yourself: Take a good long look at who you are and what was it about you that caused this to happen. Were your mistakes a symptom of a bigger problem that you have? If it was, find out what it was. Look for the bigger picture.

Regret What Happened:
There are some who will tell you to regret nothing. That is incredibly bad advice. If you made a mistake that hurt someone, you should feel regret and guilt. You should feel even worse if it was someone that you love.

Evaluate the Situation:
Assess the damage done. One of the things that people have to do when they are trying to rebuild something that was destroyed is to look around and see what just happened. Once the source of the destruction (your mistakes) has been identified its time to see what remains. Is there anything worth saving left? Is there enough left that can be built back? Hopefully there is still a foundation left and the damage wasnt so much that there is nothing left to rebuild. You will have to do this if you want to know how to win ex girlfriend back.

Verify That You Have A Chance:
You may be totally dedicated to trying and put things back together but your ex girlfriend may not be. It is hard to win back your ex if they have no desire to bring the love or the relationship back. If they have decided to move on, there may be nothing you can do about it. That is the reality of the situation, that your actions and mistakes may have consequences that involve you losing your girlfriend forever.

Engage In Dialogue:
If your ex girlfriend is willing to talk about anything at all, let it happen. You may have to endure her venting on you and blasting who you are and letting you know how big the mistakes were that you made. This is no time to get defensive.

Hopefully these were all things that you realized on your own but hearing it may give you more resolve to correct those mistakes.

Respect:
Respect what she says. Respect her feelings. Respect her wishes. Treat her with respect.
It may be tough to do but if you really want to know how to win and get your ex girlfriend back forever, you will have to take your  medicine.

What Can I do To Get My Ex Girlfriend Back

0

Most people find themselves asking "What can I do to get my ex girlfriend back" following a breakup. They begin to start thinking and philosophizing about everything that could have been done differently. They even begin to make plans about apology letters and other things that might be able to help them score their relationship back.

This tends to be a dead end for one reason above all else: Because you can never really tell what the real reasons were behind a breakup. Women become emotional and sometimes they do not even know what led to the break up at hand and they may not know what is making them feel the way they do. In many circumstances it is only harmful to lose all your energy trying to figure out what went wrong.

The first main strategy to answer the question about "what can I do to get my ex girlfriend back" is to forget about the relationship for a while, putting your energy into something else. Go out, make friends, have fun, network, and forget about women in general. Set some realistic goals about expanding your repertoire when it comes to seduction and meeting people.

Give yourself a couple of months and make changes in your life. Take some time away from your ex and it will work wonders.

The effect that strategies like this will have, is that it will allow you to make gradual changes in your life. And in how you perceive the subject of relationships. After a few months, you may have a much better idea of how you want to proceed with your ex.

Do you still want to get back together with her? Or are you ready to move on? Act accordingly. If you still want to get back together with her, it might be time to figure out how she is feeling about you.
Now is your chance to be a little more direct when it comes to getting your ex girlfriend back. You need to play strategically, however. Do not simply get your ex back to be with you, because this is not a good time to be emotional.

Instead, what you should be doing is playing things cool with your ex. If you have spent enough time apart from her, she is probably missing you as badly as you are missing her. Play hard to get a little (dont over do it) and show her that you are doing fine without her. This will inspire her to really rethink things.
And if getting back together with your ex really is meant to be,  now is the time when it will become apparent. Be careful not to analyze things too much, because over analyzing may prevent you from acting the right way when trying to figure out "what can I do to get my ex girlfriend back". Just take things slow and play them cool and you should be fine.

Should I Get Back With Ex Girlfriend

0

Should you try to get back with ex girlfriend when you think you can’t be away from her? When you think you can’t live without her and your life is incomplete you may have a challenge on your hands. It isn’t an impossible challenge, though. It is something that you can do but it will take a lot of introspection and thought about the situation. If you think you might want to get back with ex girlfriend, you need to make sure it’s worth it.

If you are trying to figure what made you have to get back with ex girlfriend in the first place you need to ask your self some questions. What was the reason for the break up in the first place? If it was your fault then look closely at what it was that you did. Was it due to your selfishness? This is something that might be hard to do. Look at the actions you took. Were they the results of a self-centered person? If so, then what has changed? What makes you so sure that you are done being self-centered? Is this desire to get back with ex girlfriend a result of self-centered thinking?

Before you try to get back with ex girlfriend, you need to make sure that it is a mutually beneficial relationship or it has very little chance of succeeding. If it is just something to try and fill a void in your life and heart then it may not be the best for them. You may have to live with the consequences of your selfish actions. Don’t expect to get taken back with open arms. You just have to know that if it isn’t good for both of you, it might not have good or positive results.

If the reason that you broke up has more to do with her selfish actions, then why do you think that she has changed or will change? Look closely at her actions. If there is genuine remorse and a willingness to change, you might have a chance. You need to ask “is she just going to do this again?” If she has a pattern of acting out of selfishness in a way that is harmful to your relationship and to you then you probably don’t. If you have significant reason to believe that what she did isn’t going to repeat itself then maybe you should get back with ex girlfriend. You have to see that that she is done looking out for only her self-interest and is more interested in something that is good for the both of you.

In either situation, whether it was because of your selfishness or hers, or even both, you need to fully believe that the both of you can act in the best interest of each other. You can not expect this relationship to go far if either one of you is self-absorbed. If you truly believe that you both are done being self-centered and can really be focused on the relationship it may be a good thing to get back together with ex.

Why Men Leave Relationships

0

If you are a women who is struggling to keep your relationship intact and you want to know why men leave relationships, this is the article for you.  As humans, we have the tendency to make things more complicated than they have to be.  This is compounded by some misconceptions that are strongly rooted in our society.
Many people have heard the saying: "Men use love to get sex and women use sex to get love".  The problem is that doesnt have to be the way it is.  While there might be some truth to that it just perpetuates a common flaw in our way of thinking: that men want and need sex more than women and that sex is all men need to be happy.
Thats simply not true.  For the most part men and women have similar sex drives but our society, and really throughout history, men have been encouraged to sow their wild oats and women have been told they have to be good girls.  So men are used to giving in to their desires and women are used to putting their desires on hold.
No wonder relationships seem like such a challenge! Half the population doesnt feel like they have any control over their urges and the other half feels like their urges are wrong!
For anyone who wants a stable loving relationship you will need to re-think many of the concepts you were brought up to believe.  The truth is that anyone, men or women, will leave unfulfilled relationships and all but the most shallow people want to be fulfilled in many ways not just sexually.
In order to really have a loving long term relationship you need to have connections: physical, spiritual, and emotional.  These are necessary for the success of any long term relationship.  All people want to feel like they are accepted, understood, desired, and loved by their partners.
When one or more of these needs arent met the relationship will start to fall apart.  For any women who wants to know why men leave relationships so they can prevent it from happening to them, just remember to connect with your man on all of these levels, and both of you will be happy, fulfilled, and committed to the relationship forever.

Relationships 101 How To Save Your Relationship

0

You might think it’s too bad you can’t take a class called relationships 101 in college. They offer math, physics, literature and tons of classes, but a class on relationships is something that could help everyone. Fortunately, you have the skills already to save your relationship and make it better without needed a relationships 101 course.

Most relationships, no matter what happens, can be saved. There are a few relationships that shouldn’t be saved, like those that are abusive or really miserable. But most others have the potential to be fixed. That should be lesson number in any relationships 101 class.

The problem is, people give up too soon. They’re angry, hurt, upset and it just seems easiest to get out of the situation that made them that way. It’s all too easy to focus only on what’s happening now, and not the past.
If the relationship was good at one point, and most were or no one would have stayed in it very long, then it really can be that way again. But people have to look past the anger and the problems that are happening now, and remember those good times. That’s the only way they’ll even want to try to use relationships 101 theory to save the couple.

To cause further problems, often one person is ready to work hard at saving the relationship. But the other person won’t look past the bad to remember the good. That person is ready to chuck it all away. And can only person save a relationship?

Sometimes one person can do it, but it’s not easy. It’s hard to stay positive and hopeful when your boyfriend of girlfriend doesn’t act or feel the same. It can start to feel like you’re fighting a losing battle.

Relationships 101 lesson #2: Keep fighting the battle, because even if the relationship doesn’t heal, it will make you a better person. That’s because the things you’ll do to try to save the relationship are simply good for you, and good for the other person, too.

It’s very important to remember the way you behaved with the relationship was new and going strong. Compare that to how you behave with that person now. And turn things around by acting the way you used to, and doing the things you used to.

Strive to be polite again just as you were in the beginning. Be thoughtful and be a good friend to the person whenever you can, even if you’re not going to get anything out of it. Don’t beg them to come back, tell them they need to come back, or threaten what will happen if they don’t come back.

When faced with someone acting like that, would you want to be with that person again?  Tell yourself that you’ll survive no matter what happens, but do your very best to show them the person they want to be with again. Best the best “you” no matter what is the best relationships 101 lesson there is.

Relationship Rescue

0

Many people begin searching for relationship rescue tactics to try and bring back the spark they once had with a partner when the magic begins to fade. Over time, most relationships grow and change from the loving, romantic bond into a steady routine of daily rituals and habits. In some cases, those habits can make one or both people in the relationship feel as though theyre being taken for granted.

Some people may find that theyre arguing more often than theyre enjoying each other. Others may find that theres nothing left to say to each other or they simply fall into a daily pattern where everything else seems more important than the relationship.

Your relationship doesnt have to be this way.

Often the first avenue many people try in order to re-kindle a relationship is to try and bring back some of the romance. Intimate dinners and provocative lingerie are nice physical attempts at bringing you closer again, but they dont address on the inner, emotional reasons why the relationship may be strained. On the other hand, endlessly talking about your relationship rescue plans and tactics could potentially drive a wedge between you and strain the relationship even further.

There are plenty of relationship rescue tactics you can use to bring that loving spark back into your relationships. Here are some relationship rescue suggestions you can try to help get you back on the right track.

1. Appreciation
When the initial heady, romantic stage of any relationship begins to settle into a comfortable partnership, many people lose sight of the things they originally appreciated in their partner. They begin to focus on the things that irritate them or annoy them or make them mad.

Unfortunately, focusing on all the negative aspects of your partner can often bring about a feeling of resentment, which can lead to arguments and eventually the destruction of the relationship.
Its important to try and find things in your partner that you appreciate. You might appreciate their kindness or their sense of humor or their intelligence or whatever attribute attracted you to them in the first place.

2. Awareness
Live each day of your relationship as though it was the last day you have with your partner. Accidents happen when we least expect them. While this doesnt mean its going to happen to you, consider how youd feel if something did happen and today really was the final day you had together.

What would you regret most? What would you wish youd said or done or changed if you never had the opportunity to do them again?

Your answers to those questions should be the very same things you need to be doing with your partner each and every day. When you live each day as though it was your last, the romance will return almost immediately.

3. Communication
Your partner cant read your mind. Sitting in silence letting a problem brew until youre at bursting point wont make your partner see problems any more clearly and it can compound the negative emotions within you.
Its important to communicate with your partner about your expectations, your needs, your goals and ambitions, your disappointment and anger. Communication is about letting the other person know what youre feeling in a clear, non-blaming manner so that you can both be sure youre on the same page.

Relationship rescue is all about finding ways to be sure you understand and appreciate the little things you do for each other instead of focusing on the negatives. If you can communicate clearly and find ways to appreciate and support your partner, then your relationship rescue attempts will be rewarded.
