How to completely get over an ex girlfriend

0

Assuming you were in a fairly fulfilling relationship that lasted more than just a few months (otherwise you wouldn’t care about getting over them), you need to lose the assumption that you will be able to completely get over them. You never will. The time that you spent with them contributed to who you are today and you should never be ashamed of that.

What you will do is learn to live with the idea that what you had was great while it lasted but now it is time to move on. Like a day at Disneyland, it was fun and you wish you didn’t have to leave but the reality is, you were not able to stay. So you walk out those gates with a smile on your face and the knowledge that one day, you’ll return again. It may not be the same place, but you know what you are looking for and you won’t settle for anything less.

Yes it will hurt and you will want that to end. It will. But, as cheesy as it sounds, the pain is the proof that what you had was worth it. If it didn’t hurt, the relationship would not have been good enough. It’s the price we pay.

So, remember the good times and smile. Reflect on the bad and think of what you’ll do different next time. Then take a walk and get some sun. Read some poetry or write some of your own (even if it’s shitty, who cares?! It’s just for you). When the thoughts come back embrace them, cry and start the process over. Every time you do this the pain will lessen until you realise that, while you will not get over them, you will be ok. You’ll realise that you are strong, important and worth it.

How to deal with your boyfriends ex girlfriend

0

There’s nothing quite like the first bloom of love. Even the simple act of him buying you a diet coke and a box of Milk Duds at the cinema makes you want to scream at the top of your lungs: ”SET THE DATE! SET THE DATE!”.

You meet his friends, spend weekends doing romantic things like have picnics in the park and may even be so infatuated that you do something as horrifying as massage each other’s hands on the subway while gazing into each other’s eyes. Basically, you make everyone around you feel slightly nauseated, much like the feeling they get after eating some bad shellfish down at the local taco shack.

You’re shameless in your public displays of affection. He’s the one, right? There isn’t much that can rain on your parade as much as an ex-girlfriend that’s still in his life. But what if she’s a very good friend and always seems to be around? There are ways to cope that don’t involve voodoo dolls, intermediate-level internet stalking and generally behaving like a loose screw.

How you feel about his close relationship with his ex-girlfriend depends on many factors. You may be fine with it if you also still hang out with your ex-boyfriend and call him “homeslice” while high-fiving him over jello shots down at the pub. If you have a lot of close male friends, you also might be perfectly fine with him still being close with his ex. Things get more complicated if you’re a girl’s girl - you only have close female friends and your own ex-boyfriends are relegated to the same compartment of your life reserved for bad perms and the time you were thrown out of the karaoke bar for disorderly behaviour. Dark memories indeed.

It’s not that  all of your relationships ended badly or you have any ill-will towards your exes - you just believe that old boyfriends should stay in the past. Nothing wrong with being friendly but in all senses of the word - they are not a part of your life. In the classic 1980s romantic comedy, When Harry Met Sally,  Billy Crystal asks - can men and women really be just friends?  Particularly if they used to date? Despite your own views about this, it’s important to keep your cool if you find yourself in the awkward situation of having to socialize with your new boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend.

Do not freak out

It may sound obvious when I say this but it’s very easy to fly off the handle when he first brings her up or brings up the idea of you two meeting each other. No matter what, try and keep your cool and act like a mature adult about it. One meeting won’t kill you and you never know, she might be nice! It certainly doesn’t mean you have to be friends with her. Just do whatever you can to be yourself and not over the top. Don’t act super fake, just be normal. You don’t have to be cool with it but if she is a genuinely nice person who is a part of your boyfriend’s life, you might have to just accept this or move on. If she’s not a nice person, that’s an entirely different story.

Even if the meeting doesn’t go well, keep your cool!

What if you met her and she was openly rude to you? Try not to get angry. This might actually be a good thing. If the whole situation made you uncomfortable in the first place, this might be a good way for your boyfriend to see that there is something wrong here. It’s impossible to generalize but if his ex is rude to you then something is obviously amiss. If there was nothing between them, she should be able to at least be civil to you. If she’s a good friend to your ex, she would make the effort to be friendly right? In the face of the cold shoulder she gives to you, just continue to act normal and do not stoop to the same level. Be polite, smile and go on your merry way. At the end of the day, it’s not your problem if she has any kind of issue with you.. And your boyfriend should question why she can’t bring herself to be civil to you.

Do not internet stalk her

Honestly, the less you know about her the better. It’s not necessary to cyber-stalk, nor is it healthy. Resist the urge to dig around on Facebook or pump any mutual friends for information. Why do you want to know? It really doesn’t make a difference to your situation - if your boyfriend wanted to be with her then he would. You have to trust that he doesn’t and take his word for it sometimes.

The more you know about her, the more of a problem you will have. The more distance you have the easier it will be to see her as a casual acquaintance, someone you might see occasionally but who has zero hold over your current relationship. If you can’t seem to peel your paws off of Facebook stalking then deactivate your account. It’s only a huge problem if you make it into one. Make your feelings about the situation known to your boyfriend and work through it. It’s between you and him and has nothing to do with her.

Be clear about what you’re comfortable with

Dating advice and self-help books seem to be obsessed with telling women to “play it cool”, act non-chalant and be the “cool” girlfriend who doesn’t mind if her boyfriend regularly sleeps over at his ex-girlfriend’s house. This is awful advice and only tries to force women to act like a doormat just to keep a man.

If your boyfriend is doing things that make you uncomfortable, be vocal about it. Even if to him it’s completely innocent, it doesn’t mean you have to be ok with him going to Mexico with her and their mutual friends. It’s not just about trust, it’s about respect. You don’t have to flip out but just talk about it in a mature way. If you’re not okay with him sleeping over at her house whenever it’s “too late to go home”, make this known immediately. If it makes you uncomfortable that he talks to her about your relationship, don’t be afraid to make this clear. He’s not the right guy for you if doesn’t respect your wishes or finds them unreasonable. Only you know what you’re comfortable with - if you don’t stick to your guns you’ll end up very unhappy in the long run.

Is Your Marriage In Crisis

0

Is your marriage in crisis? Would you know it if it was? Do you recognize the warning signs? A marriage in crisis can sometimes disguise itself as a normal but slightly boring marriage until it’s too late to change it and save it.
You have to pay attention to all the signs of health in your marriage to make sure your partnership is going strong. First, look at how often you have sex. While sex isn’t the whole point of the marriage—it’s much more important than just that—it’s a crucial part of a healthy marriage.
A marriage in crisis is usually pretty easy to spot by looking at your sex lives. Do you have sex infrequently? Is it a big, scheduled deal when you do have sex? Have you stopped having sex spontaneously just when you feel like it?
When sex becomes a scheduled activity, a marriage can certainly recover. In fact, most marriages go through a phase very much like that when a baby is born. Each child makes it more and more difficult to find the time to spend with our partner over a meal or before leaving for work, let alone finding a spare hour to make love.
But a marriage in crisis never breaks out of that pattern. Instead, even when the time is there the partners don’t have spontaneous sex. Usually there’s very little physical affection shown during the day either. People in love and happy to be together tend to hug and kiss different times through the day.
A loving couple will often touch each other just in passing. One will give the other a fast kiss on the cheek or forehead for no reason. Does this still happen in your marriage? Do you ever sneak a quick pinch or pat on the bottom or a sexy look in the middle of the day?
When these things start to disappear, it can be a sign that the marriage is in trouble. The other thing that goes in a very obvious way is common courtesy. When you say “thank you,” “excuse me,” and “please,” throughout your day to strangers more than you say them to your partner, something’s wrong.
We take our partners for granted in this way, and eventually this leads to a sort of coldness between people. There is simply no reason not to be affectionate and thank our partners (and say please) during the course of everyday life.
The good news is that if you’re seeing these warning signs, you can start working right now to correct them. And you don’t have to make a fanfare about it or announce the change. Simply change what you do.
Make a point of giving affection and unexpected kisses. Be very polite again, and say please and thank you, even when it’s just the two of you. Make time for making love. Do these things and your marriage in crisis could soon be back on track and you could be happier than ever.

Saving The Scorpio Woman Relationship

0

So you’ve made up and you’re back in a Scorpio woman relationship. That the Scorpio has agreed to try again is a very good thing, because often when people under this sign end something, it’s for good. Understanding the sign and its tendencies can help you heal your Scorpio woman relationship and make it last.

Now that you’re fixing the relationship, look back at what caused the problem. Was there cheating involved? If you cheated, or she thought you were cheating, understand that in the Scorpio woman relationship the potential for jealousy is very high.

This sun sign is possessive and jealous by nature. It’s flattering to have someone feel that way about you, to an extent. But when it’s taken to extremes it can make the relationship very tense and the amount of trust between you can suffer.

Scorpios are one of the signs more prone to obsession than any other. So if your woman becomes obsessed with the idea that you’ll cheat again, it’s going to be a hard mountain to climb for you to convince her otherwise. You have to be willing to give it a lot of time, and deal with a lot of suspicion.

If she cheated and has seen the error of her ways, try not to be too possessive or act too jealous now. It’s all right for her to know how hurt you were and the damage that it caused. But if you mistrust everything she does now, she’ll soon decide the relationship can’t be saved, even if she wants to stay with you.

Something to keep in mind in a Scorpio woman relationship is that Scorpios don’t like to be wrong. If she thought you were perfect or that you would never do something that you did, it goes beyond her being hurt. You proved she’d made a mistake, which is never easy for a Scorpio.

Any time a Scorpio makes a mistake or is wrong about something, she’ll admit it if she sees the clear evidence. So when she makes a mistake, give her time to realize it on her own. And do your best not to prolong it or keep pointing it out. She’ll appreciate that more than you know.

When you’re making up with this sun sign, you might tend to tiptoe a bit. Because of Scorpio’s volatile nature, you might worry that one wrong move could lead to another break up, this time for good.

But one of the worst things that can happen in the relationship is for the Scorpio to get bored. Boredom, for some born under his sign, is often worse than things going wrong! At least when things are going wrong there’s activity and movement.

When things are plain boring, though, that can be worse to a Scorpio than when there’s lots of conflict in the air. Scorpios enjoy challenge, debate and even argument. So when you’re healing your Scorpio woman relationship, don’t be so afraid of making a mistake that you’re afraid to make any move at all.

Saving A Relationship 3 Tips For Doing So

0

Whether youve recently broken up, or youre afraid youre on the brink of a breakup  you can take heart,  saving a relationship is possible.  You can reignite the flame that the two of you once shared.  It wont necessarily be easy or fast, but if youre committed to making it work there is hope.
Ive compiled a list of some of the things you need to do to salvage and repair your relationship.  Keep these tips in mind when you are analyzing your relationship:
1.  Do you really want to stay in the relationship?  I know this may sound like a dumb question but sometimes when we think we want to keep our relationship what we really mean is that were afraid of having to find someone new, or starting over.  If youre brutally honest with yourself you can determine if you really want to continue the relationship or if youre just scared of being on your own.
Another part of this question is to determine if your partner really wants to work on the relationship too.  Even if you decide that your relationship is worth saving, that doesnt mean your partner shares your conviction or will be willing to invest the time and effort to work on your problems.
2.  Honestly evaluate what went wrong in your relationship. Again, this will need to be done by both of you.  This can be the hardest part, its always easier to blame someone else for the problems but its tougher to own up to your part in the break down of your relationship.
Before you can repair it you need to know not only what is broken but why it broke.  The two of you may even want to visit a couples counselor to help you objectively work through this phase.  Sometimes having an objective third party in the room can help you both stay calm and face things you may not have been willing or able to face on  your own.
3. Try to remember what drew you to each other in the first place.  If youve been in a relationship for a while you obviously loved and enjoyed each other.  So often in a relationship what happens is that the stronger one (or the most selfish one) controls the relationship. They become the one who tends to take more than they give.  The other partner will take on the role of the giver.  Over time the taker will get bored because the fun loving person they fell in love with has become a doormat and the giver will get sick of not getting their needs met often enough.
If your relationship has fallen into this trap you both need to take a step back and remember what attracted you to each other.  This might be a good time to not only remember but to tell the other person.  Remind them why you fell in love with them, and vice a versa.
Saving a relationship will take time, work, and commitment by both parties, but it can be done.  If you think your relationship is worth saving and your partner thinks so too, than by all means, follow the tips above and you can salvage your relationship.

How to quickly get over your ex girlfriend

0

Need someone to blame for your lackluster love life? Point your finger at your ex. According to a new study from the University of Toronto, your old flame gives you fits long after the breakup.

Researchers tracked 123 people in relationships for six months, asking them to rate their feelings of affection both for their current partner and their most recent past partner. Turns out that as your current relationship goes sour, you begin to wistfully reminisce about the good times with your ex. “She starts to seem like a much better alternative when your new relationship isn’t going well,” says study author Stephanie Spielmann, a Ph.D. candidate in psychology at Toronto.

What’s more, people who started a relationship with relatively positive feelings for their ex saw their new relationship quickly fall apart, the study found.

That doesn’t mean you should let nostalgia for your ex push aside the legitimate reasons why you broke up. “Trying to get back together is often associated with feelings of anger, hostility and sadness,” Spielmann says. “Plus, on-again, off-again relationships tend to be of lower quality.” It’s true: According to new research from Kansas State University, people in cyclical relationships tend to feel less satisfied, have lower self-esteem, and have more doubts about the future of their relationship than more stable couples.

In order to forge a new dating path without worrying about your ex, you need to make your breakup stick. Here’s how. (And for more tips on cutting bait, learn How to Send Her Packing for Good.)

1. Renew Your Space

You were probably wise enough to give back her stuff, and you may have even tossed most of her gifts (although we don’t blame you for keeping that signed NFL game ball). But plenty of your belongings can remind you of your ex. “Get rid of that blanket you cuddled together under, move your bed, buy a new bedspread, and rearrange your couch and your flatscreen so the familiar look of your living room doesn’t stir up old memories,” says Melysha Acharya, founder of BrokenHeartedGirl.com and author of The Breakup Workbook for Men.

2. Get an Outside Perspective

Ask your close friends what they really thought of your ex-girlfriend. “The key questions to ask are: ‘Did I seem happy with my ex?’ and ‘Did you think she was good for me?’” says Acharya. Their unvarnished opinion will help you see past your idealized memories. If she broke your heart, chances are your friends will loyally hate her for you. But if it turns out they actually liked your ex, take that as a sign that you’re meeting the right women and you’ll be able to find a better match soon. (Living in the city? 3. Rebuild Your Ego

You may feel like you’ll never meet anyone better than your ex, and you fear you’ll be alone forever. So even if you’re not ready to date yet, set up an online dating profile and browse the available women in your area. A 2009 study by Spielmann found that merely thinking about the number of available women you know helps reduce feelings of attachment to your ex. How to diss your ex girlfriend

0

Who does not make mistake while in relationship?  Honestly, everyone does.  Undeniably we all learn from mistakes.  You have just broken up with your ex-boyfriend and now you realized that it is because of a silly mistake you have made that caused the break up.  You want him back desperately but how?  The worse is he is now seeing another woman soon after the break up, you are in a more difficult situation.  However, difficult does not mean there is no way of fixing thing up.

First of all, what you must do is to call your ex-boyfriend up personally.  Express your feeling to him, avoid crying as you might not be able to continue the conversation if you start crying non-stop.  Tell him that you are sorry, and let him know that you admit your mistake and willing to change.  Promise him that you will not repeat the same mistake anymore.  In the meantime, be alert on his reply to you, try to understand what he wants to convey to you.  If he still has feeling with you, then you can get him back very fast.

It is possible that he tells you he has moved on and dating a new girl.  However, you must analyse carefully to see whether he is just trying to make you jealous or he actually means it.  If he is doing for the purpose of making you jealous, you can just admit to him that his plan works and you are willing to get back with him without the need to continue his plan.

On the other hand, if your ex-boyfriend has really moved on with his new life with a new girlfriend, you will have to put in more efforts to get him back.  Before you take any action of getting him back, you need to know from him if he is still interested in you (a little bit will do) or he just wants to be friend with you.  If he just wants to be friend with you, then do not beg him nor force him to be with you again.  Most importantly, do not act like an uneducated woman in front of him towards his current girlfriend.  That will only make thing worse.

When he tells you that he really wants to move on with his new girlfriend and ask you to accept the break up, remember not to overreact in front of him.  Just accept it calmly and he will respect you.  In addition, he might have done so just because he is still mad at you so give him some time to release his anger and he may go back to you after he thinks through.

During the period soon after break up, you got to do your part too.  You shall not waste time doing unnecessary things such as crying hysterically, throwing things and spoil them, shouting at the walls etc.  If you really want him back badly, you must be patience and keep up the good virtues.  Be a happy-go-lucky woman, move on your life with your bunch of friends.  Go to gym, this is always one of the best ways to release your tension and sadness.  Keep yourself busy but not asking you to get drunks in pub, that does not help.  Do all the good things that your ex-boyfriend will really like to see.

Show to him that you are a better woman now and you will be a better girlfriend too.  Try your best to make him fall in love with you again.  His current girlfriend might not turn out as good as he thinks.  When you have done your part for being a good woman, he will start comparing and know who is more suitable for him.  These effective tips are very practical when you apply them accordingly.  In addition, you also need to prepare yourself in being a better woman to get your ex-boyfriend back faster.

How to get over an ex girlfriend

0

This is the number one question I get asked most of the time – right after the question on how to win her back.

And it’s difficult to answer. How do you get over your ex girlfriend?

I guess that we have all been there at some point in our lives.

Relationship starts. Everything’s good. Suddenly, everything isn’t so good. And you break up. That’s life!

I have had my share of it, so I speak from experience here.

You have probably shared lots of good times, and now it’s gone.

No more holding hands, no more crawling in close when it’s cold outside, no more kisses under the moonlight, no more anything.

For some it’s easier to accept than others. But I don’t think anyone like breaking up.

For the first few days, after realizing the truth, you feel pretty awful. This is definitely the worst part of a break up, and also the part that defines your emotions for the next couple of weeks.

So how do you go about handling a break up?

As thoughts are really hard to control, I’ll give you a “timeline” for your emotions.

I know it might sound a little strange, but it’s how I personally handle the break up, and for that reason, I figure it might be useful for some people.

Here we go:

The first few days I cry my heart out. I let out all of my negative feelings, and do almost nothing more all day than to “think about her”. Whenever I try to slip in a positive thought, I’ll disregard it right away. It’s my privelege to be sad just a few days a year, I’ll explain why later on.

What’s really important in this phase is that you don’t talk to anyone about the break up. At least not more than something like “we’re not together anymore”.

Another really important thing to do is to stop listening to love songs. At this point, you will most likely identify with them, and I know from experience that this can really f**k up your emotions later on.

So just let yourself be as sad as you can, without talking to anyone, and without getting feelings from anyone else than yourself.

Afterwards, if you have followed my advice, you should almost be sick thinking about her. 3 days might not be a long time in a calendar, but in your head, it will almost feel like it’s ages ago you broke up.

You will start realizing that she wasn’t “the one” for you, and that you have your whole life waiting, along with millions of cute girls.

Over the next few weeks, you might have some reoccurring thoughts about her. That’s fine. As long as you realize how bad she was for you, and that you’re not going to get back together.

I think this is the part most guys do wrong. They keep thinking they can get back together, and this makes it incredibly hard to move on.

For a couple of days, try to just “get on with it”. Don’t spend time thinking about her, just live your life like you always have.

After a week or two, you’ll see that you do fantastic without her. You might not be completely “over her”, but you’re definitely on the right path to getting so.

Personally, after about 2-3 weeks, I completely stop thinking about her. Well, not completely, she’s still “my ex”, but I’m by no means sad about the fact that we’re not together anymore.

Soon, I’ll meet another girl, twice as nice, and it’s all uphill from here with happiness. Until we break up.
Life’s strange isn’t it?

General tips on handling the break up

  • Stop stroking the banana fantasizing about her. It’s just wrong… AND it tightens your emotional bonds to her. Not good man!
  • You’d be amazed what kissing a new girl can do. Start meeting new people as soon as possible.
  • Accept that she wasn’t the one. She was just a girl, whatever your brain might tell you. You have a “her” hole in your stomach right now, and you probably think that only she can fill it. But what the hole really is is just a woman shaped hole, and any women can fill it.
  • Take control of the situation. Don’t let her define your feelings, only you can do that.
  • Start living again. After feeling down for a few days, a week, or maybe more, start living again. If you have always wanted to start playing tennis, now is the time to do it. Or start playing guitar, or start painting. Anything will work, just gain some kind of new passion, or relive an old one.

Why it’s important to be sad at first

This might not work for everyone, but I can only conclude stuff from my own experience, so that’s what I’m going to do.

The reason I choose to be sad at first, is to take control. It’s my choice to cry, she has nothing to do with it. Not directly, anyway.

In my opinion it’s really bad to try to run from your feelings, because you will feel sad. Best just to admit it and let it out.

After those few days, you will also realize that someone that made you so sad, wasn’t right for you. This is also important.

So now to wrap it up, I would like to know one thing.

How to get even with your ex girlfriend

0

So your relationship has ended badly and the only thought on your mind right now is about how you can get revenge on your ex girlfriend right? As a guy that’s a totally understandable reaction if you’ve just been dumped because your pride is hurt and there might even be the possibility that you’ve been cheated on too. Basically if you’re a guy and the only thing you can think of right now is how to get even with your ex girlfriend then chances are you’ve been badly hurt by her.

But is revenge the best way to go about doing things? Sure you might have information about her like pictures, texts or emails that you could share with friends and you’d probably create a small amount of scandal around her by doing this. The reality is though that whatever scandal you create today will be replaced by somebody else’s scandal or news tomorrow and after all the laughter has died down that’s when you start to feel bad for what you just did, said or showed people in relation to your ex. People will also get very bored, very quickly of having to listen to the same jokes or stories about your ex every time they meet you. Do yourself a favor and don’t do the “broken record” routine because eventually your friends will stop listening.

Wanting revenge is a very normal reaction to have when somebody hurts you but it’s also such a powerful feeling that it can emotionally hijack you and at that point you stop thinking like a normal, rational human being and you start using your animal instincts instead. This is the dangerous point when you could very easily do or say something you’ll regret for the rest of your life, either from a personal or legal point of view.

Revenge can take many forms too by the way – it can include aggressive phone calls, dating/sleeping with one of her friends, confronting your ex with her new boyfriend, sharing intimate details of your relationship through Twitter or Facebook or a whole host of other things. The digital age has presented us with the ability to share information with people at the speed of thought but it’s also good to remember that once you share something online it’s out there forever  – you can’t ever take it back.

So when you reach the point that you think revenge is your best or only option the best thing to do is absolutely nothing for 24-hours. Put your cell phone away, turn off your computer and go see a movie. Remove any way for you to contact your ex or spread information about her for at least one entire day. What you’ll normally find is even though you might have been furious on a Monday afternoon that by Tuesday evening a lot of that anger has faded.

This might sound like the ultimate cliché but forgiveness is the key to you getting on with your life. Believe me it sucks to forgive people who have hurt you but there’s a lot of healing in forgiveness and you’ll look like a much better person for doing it. In fact you’ll probably notice that other women really admire your mature approach to the situation. Mature and reasonable men who don’t go insane over their ex girlfriends can be very attractive to prospective new girlfriends.

So instead of spending hours or days figuring out how to get revenge on your ex girlfriend invest that time in improving yourself as a man and as a person in general – you’ll come out looking better at the end of it either way.

How to reconnect with an ex girlfriend

0

As romantic as it may sound to you to want to reconnect with your ex girlfriend, you should probably be aware that there is no guarantee that she is going to feel the same way about things. While you might assume that she is going to be ecstatic that you are trying to reconnect with her, many men find out that this is not the case and if you go about things the wrong way, you can end up chasing her away. I am sure that you dont want to scare her off, so you probably want to know if there is a way to get back the woman you lost without making her run away from you. There is.

Why Would She Be Scared Off by You?

First though, lets talk about one of the most common reasons why a woman will feel like she has to run away from an ex boyfriend that is trying to reconnect with her. And that is - the guy usually makes things out to be more serious than he should. If there has been a buffer of time between the last time that the two of you communicated with one another, then you may want to be careful that you dont come across as being too serious when you do.

Think about things from her perspective on this one. She is going about her normal life, doing her normal routine and then... out of the blue you call her up and act all serious. What do you expect is going to run through her mind? She is probably going to wonder what you are up to and why you are trying to get back together with her now that she has gotten on with her life. That is probably going to make her very hesitant about wanting to reconnect with you and for you, that means that you are going to have another obstacle to deal with.

You dont want to bring that upon yourself. So, what you should do is to be very careful about coming across like you are reconnecting with her for the sole reason of getting back together. Make it seem like it is more about just wanting to reconnect and talk with her and that will probably give you a better chance of her actually feeling like she wants to reconnect with you as well. Once you do that and you build up some rapport with her again, THEN you will have your chance to think about escalating things to the point where you can get back together.

Take It Slow and It May Just Happen -

Its always a shame to lose contact with a woman that you still care about, but if you take precaution to make sure that you dont seem like the only reason why you want to reconnect with her is to get back together - you may just get your chance. And the cool thing about it is... it may then lead to the two of you getting back together after all.

How to get ex girlfriend to miss you

0

Does she even notice youre not around anymore? It probably doesnt seem like it since she doesnt call or see you much. But inside her mind I can tell you that she still thinks about you. It is virtually impossible to completely forget about someone you have been in a relationship with for so long. The first time she goes to places you used to visit together her mind will drift back to those times. Same thing for the other hundreds of activities you did with her in the past.

But how can you get her to miss you like crazy? The simple answer is by disappearing from her life and creating curiosity about what you are up to. This isnt necessarily the easiest plan to pull off, but it is very effective for changing her feelings about breaking up with you.

The first thing you need to do is get out of the house and go make a name for yourself. Reconnect with old friends, get more involved in your social circles, and start creating your own fun. Dont wait to be invited to a party or event...come up with your own ideas and invite the people you know. Take advantage of every opportunity to be seen. Helping friends with their own projects is a great place to begin if you need ideas.

Now, while you are out having fun you want to make sure your ex girlfriend sees or hears about your activities. Facebook is one way to do this. Even if she has dropped you from her "friends" you can still find your way onto her page by appearing in other friends pictures and conversations. Remember that the more activities you participate in the better your chances are to show up on her radar.

If you do all this right you will build up a rock-star persona that will make your ex girlfriend think she was crazy for letting you go. The key for you is to play "hard to get" for a while and make her miss you to the point that she will ask you out!

You might have your doubts as to how effective this plan can be. Most people never put in enough effort for it to impact their exs feelings. It is an all-or-nothing type strategy. Unless you achieve the highest levels of social prowess within the common friends you and your ex have then the results will be less effective. But those who do establish a high level of popularity will discover a whole new world of opportunity. Perhaps even enough to leave their ex behind.

How to ruin an ex girlfriend life

0

Dear Dr Victoria… I split from my ex-husband around three years ago. We’ve both moved on but have remained great friends. At the moment I don’t have a boyfriend, but his new girlfriend has a real problem with our platonic relationship. She’s an absolute bitch.

My ex and I share lots of mutual friends and mix in the same social circle. We regularly chat on the phone, and meet up for drinks. She tells my ex that she likes me, but I know if this is a lie. She spreads rumours about me and puts me down in front of our friends. She even told a guy I was dating I had herpies. This isn’t true.

I really value my exes friendship and I love him dearly but not in a sexual way. I’m now at the end of my tether and am seriously considering ending our friendship. Should I walk away or stand my ground?

Dr Victoria says…This is a difficult situation, but I’m sure your ex-husband and your mutual friends have brains of their own and can come to their own conclusions about what’s going on here.  His new girlfriend is obviously insecure about the friendship you have with her boyfriend.

You could talk to her and reassure her that you’re just friends, but really I doubt it will change anything.  It could make her even worse as then her insecurities are being directly confronted and at present her unreasonable behaviour is protecting her from admitting to these insecurities.

I do think that you or your ex-husband should confront her over individual incidents.  If someone says you have a sexually transmitted disease when you don’t, you’ve got every reason to be angry and why shouldn’t you bring this up with her and ask her why she said it?  This is the only mature adult thing to do.

However, there’s no reason to store up all these incidents silently, allowing the resentment to build up until you end up criticising her for everything she’s ever done.  Deal with each incident as it comes up and keep a level head.

There’s no need to bad mouth her to anyone who will listen.  You want to appear as the calm, reasonable and rational person here.  If you friends are aware of the simple facts then they will come to their own conclusions.

Your ex-husband will also come to his own conclusions.  If she continues to behave in this way, especially spreading lies about you, I doubt she’ll be his girlfriend for much longer.

There’s no need to end your friendship with him either.  This is way too drastic and unnecessary.  Why cut off your nose to spite your face?  If things are getting tricky and causing you too much stress then you can always cool things down for a while and see him less often, but this is down to you.  If you end the friendship completely then there will be knock-on consequences for the whole social group.  If things truly are platonic now and you don’t have a hidden agenda, why shouldn’t you remain friends if you share the same social circle?

The Best Relationship Quotes I Know

0

I love reading relationship quotes and today I thought I would share a couple of my favorite ones with you. Where possible, proper credit has been given to the person who wrote or spoke the original quote. However in some cases that may not have been possible.
You know love funny quotes as I believe humour is a key ingredient in a great relationship. Some of the funny ones I like are:
"What can you say to a man who has just had sex?  Anything you like as he is asleep".
Or for those male readers - "what is the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS?" "You can negotiate with a terrorist!"
Joking aside, this quote credited to Leo Buscaglia should be in all couple’s homes.
“Too often we under estimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around”.
As most of us know it is the little things in a relationship that can cause it to fail or blossom. It is easy to blame the other person in our relationship for our dissatisfaction but as Martha Washington said “I have learned from experience that a greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances.”
Some relationship quotations are beautiful and sad at the same time.  Such as the one from William Somerset Maugham (an English Writer) on unrequited love being "The love that lasts the longest is the love that is never returned."
While I dont think Colin Powell was talking about relationships when he said "None of us can change our yesterdays, but we can all change our tomorrows", it is one that we could all do with remembering. Too often we waste time and energy holding grudges against our partners for something they did in the past. It is too late to change it now so let it go once and for all. So long as it isnt a pattern of repeated behaviour it doesnt do anyone any good to remember it.
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much " Helen Keller. This lady was my idol when I was growing up. Despite being born blind and mute she achieved so much more than the rest of us often do. I believe that being part of a couple and then a family gives us the chance to be so much more. We need to appreciate the gifts we have. Our relationships would be a lot happier if we said thank you and I love you just a little more often.
As Mother Theresa is quoted as saying "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in the world today than for bread".  Make sure your loved one knows how much you love and appreciate them today, to avoid a day when you wished you had listened to the relationship quotes.

Relationships And Cheating How To Get Over It

0

Does it seem like relationships and cheating go to together like chocolate and peanut butter? It can start to when everyone you know has had someone cheat on them. And chances are that you’ve had someone cheat on you. Or when it comes to relationships and cheating, you were the one doing the cheating.

Cheating hurts. It hurts the person who’s being cheated on, and believe it or not, it hurts the cheater. The cheater has to hide what he’s doing, probably has to lie to keep it a secret and has to feel the guilt that goes with it.

Even if he or she doesn’t seem guilty, they probably secret feel guilty. When there are relationships and cheating occurs, that doesn’t mean the end of the relationship every time.

You’ve been in a relationship and you’ve been cheated on, and you’ve gotten back together or you’ve never broken up. Can you really make it work now that the other person has cheated? How do you get over it? Will he cheat again?

It’s not easy to save these relationships, and cheating is something that can sometimes happen more than once. But if you can truly rebuild your trust in the other person, then you can stay together and be happy.
Do you know why the person cheated on you? That’s a very important consideration in whether you’ll be able to trust them not to cheat on you again. Were things not good in your relationship at the time, or was it just convenient and just “happened?” You should be able to have a calm discussion about these reasons.
If the reasons turn out to be things like he or she was simply bored that day and the opportunity came along, then you may have problems. If the other person can give no better reasons for hurting you that way, you may want to consider whether you really can forgive them to be happy. It won’t be easy.

If you were having problems, then at least the other person may have thought that the relationship was going to end anyway. They might have felt ignored or undervalued. This is not to give them a good excuse for cheating—they were wrong. But it can help you to understand what they were thinking at the time and you can work on the problems together.

Relationships and cheating are a curious mixture, with some couples able to move on quite well after the devastation of an affair. Sometimes, though, the person who was cheating on can’t get over it. To stay in the relationship when there’s no trust there, and he or she fears that the other will cheat at any time, can be a miserable thing to do.

The constant suspicions can make you miserable, and can make the other person feel under a microscope 24/7. You have to decide to trust the person not to hurt you again, and let go of the fear even though it can be very hard to do in relationships and cheating situations.
