How to get rid of a stalker ex girlfriend

0

At some point in your life, youre most likely going to be trying to get out of a bad relationship and will be wondering how to get ride of a jealous ex girlfriend. Dumping an ex is the easy part, but keeping her out of life may prove to be much more difficult, at least, without the help of a restraining order. There are a few crucial things you can do though to get rid of a jealous ex girlfriend.

The first thing you should do to get rid of a jealous ex girlfriend is to let her know that youre done with the relationship. If shes an unreasonable and dramatic type, remain calm during the conversation but let her know that youre serious and be quite firm in your talk with her. Tell her that you want her to stay away from you or any of your future relationships. Dont be swayed by tears or threats.

Inform your friends that you have a jealous ex girlfriend who might try to get to you through them. Ask for their support in ignoring her requests for information about you and your future relationships.

A jealous ex girlfriend will most likely try to break into your email or voicemail. You next step in curtailing the relationship should be to immediately change all of your passwords. While youre at it, make you passwords very difficult to break by using at least one upper case, one lower case, one number and one symbol in every password.

Changing your routine will make it more difficult for a jealous ex girlfriend to follow you throughout your day. You might not be able to change your work pattern, but find new places to hang out, especially if youre planning on taking a new date along.

If worse comes to worse and youre being stalked by a jealous ex girlfriend, you might have to ask for support from the police. Consider getting a restraining order which might at least slow her approach to you. Warn her beforehand that youre going to take this step and, if she continues her stalking behavior, make good on the threat and get the restraining order.

How to get rid of a crazy ex girlfriend

0

Oh yes, you know who I am talking about...
Those insane ex girlfriends who were dumped weeks, months, or even well over a year ago who refuse to accept that things are O-V-E-R because, well...
"Its not over UNTIL I SAY ITS OVER!!!!" *locusts burst out of chest, clouds darken* - its the beginning of the apocalypse.

Ye-ap, THEY BE KA-RA-ZAY!

I feel like you would know whether or not you have a crazy ex, but if for some bizarre reason youre blissfully unaware, let me spell it out for you.

You know you have a crazy ex-girlfriend when...

1) You receive anonymous phone calls before bed and hear some exorcist-style, shaky breathing on the other line, but never any voices. On occasion, you may hear some low whispers... that would be the sound of desperation in the form of a love spell, or voodoo that they learned at the creepy corner store in your small town. Either way, now would be the time to hang up the phone and close your blinds because if shes not sitting in the tree outside your window watching you yet, she will be soon.

2) Your facebook, hotmail, myspace, etc. are constantly being hacked and you have to log on, fill out your "not-so-secret-anymore" information and change your password again and AGAIN. Yup, that would be her... she wants to know who youre talking to, why youre talking to them, and if she has any other girls she needs to worry about.

3) Every time you go to bed you smell her perfume on your pillow. At this point, youre either paranoid from all of the outside-your-window-tree-stalking that shes been doing, or shes been sneaking into your room, rolling around on your bed and hoping that her scent will lead you back to her.

Now would be the time to file a police report...
OR...
Follow this step-by-step guide on how to rid yourself of her insane antics:

1) Be polite, yet firm. If this girl is as crazy as you think she is, its likely that she will not listen to reason. However, you need to explain to her why you think that the relationship cant work. Assure her that you dont want to be with a person who you dont love and that she doesnt want to be with a person who cant love her "the way she deserves." Even if that is a bunch of BS, consider the fact that you once cared for this girl... and as much as you want to bash her in the face with a shovel and tell her to find someone else to stalk - you cant.

2) Some girls cant take the hint. Some girls cant take the let-me-spell-it-out-for-you-I-dont-care-about-you-and-I-never-will approach either... they just wont accept things. AVOID HER - avoid her at all costs. Clearly she lacks self control (and stability), so being around your sexy self will only draw her to you more. If you are at a party and she shows up (which she clearly planned BY THE WAY) - DO NOT talk to her. If she talks to you, give short, yet polite, one word answers and walk away and talk to other people. If she begins making a scene... and by scene I mean shes sobbing in the corner, screaming your name, or throwing things - that would be your cue to leave.

3) If she continues showing up at your house, or your work unannounced - now would be the time to stand your ground. Do not tell her that youre better off alone, yet continue making plans with her. Do not tell her that you need some distance between the two of you for a while and continue to talk to her on a daily, or weekly basis. Do not tell her that you want to see other people and continue to hook up with her. DID YOU HEAR THAT LAST ONE? DO NOT, BY ANY MEANS, CONTINUE TO HOOK UP WITH YOUR CRAZY EX. Believe it or not... she will continue to obsess over you and will fool herself into believing that the two of you may, POSSIBLY, get back together. SHE will cling to that slight chance like its her JOB. If you continue to hook up with this girl - YOU are bringing this problem upon yourself. BE STRONG and if you cant keep it in your pantaloons - buy some lotion, or get a hobby.

4) If she is friends with any of your friends... be aware of the fact that she is likely talking to them and asking them what youre up to in that ever-so-subtle way of hers. THIS WILL NOT DO AT ALL! Tell your friends not to divulge any personal, or secret things going on in your life to this girl. If she knows what, or who youre doing - there will be trouble... "I wanna wear your skin to my birthday party" kind of trouble.

5) If you begin seeing someone else... its likely that your crazy ex-girlfriend already knows about it via her mad stalking skills. Do not share information about your new girlfriend with your ex, such as where she works, lives, or your plans for the upcoming weekend. Depending on how crazy your ex is, you could be placing your new gal in danger. Its not her business who youre dating, or why youre dating them.
**Keep in mind that it is not a very good idea to divulge that you are dating someone new too soon after a breakup - it would be best to keep things on the down low for a little while if your relationship just ended.**

6) Be consistent with what you are saying and doing. Do not give your ex-girlfriend hugs, hold her hand, talk to her constantly, tell her you miss her, etc. UNLESS you are planning on getting back together with her. With that being said, weve already established that shes crazy, so... I guess its your funeral.

**** If you are planning on establishing a friendly relationship with this person, explain WHY you cannot talk to her for a while and why you need space - be upfront with her. If you disappear suddenly without telling her - she will think youre a jerk and will not want to be friends with you. Be courteous and tell her that youre going to be disappearing for a while and that you would like to be friends after youve had some time to deal with things.

**** Ahhh...haunt my dreams.

How to get ex girlfriend jealous

0

Letting out the green eyed monster is one of the proven techniques that will make your ex girlfriend jealous enough to want you back. Its all about creating the need and making her see that no one is indispensable. Here is what you need to do to get your ex girlfriend jealous.

Put the break up behind you - FAST
If you want to make her sit up and take notice then you have to put your break up behind you really fast. She expects you to be sad and depressed and when you dont do any of that she gets angry because shes not making any impact on you after leaving you. Its the ego that takes a hit here.

Be seen as a positive person
Dont go around like a love sick puppy. How will that help you to get her jealous? Instead look happy and be a positive person. In fact be more positive than you were ever before and your ex will begin to get jealous of you.

Start looking better than you did
When your ex dumps you she is again expecting you to let go of the way you look and be forlorn all the time. Dont give her that pleasure. Instead focus on all the things that you feel you can change about your looks and start to look even better than you did. Get back into the dating circuit
If you really want to get her goat then get back into the dating circuit pronto. She will go mad with jealousy when she sees you with other girls. The fact that you are moving on so fast and so easily is going to drive her nuts.

Dont even try to contact her
Dont bother to contact her after you have broken up. There is no need to be extra nice and worry about her feelings at the moment. You need to keep your focus on getting her jealous.

Look through her
You need to take your dates to places where you can expect to bump into her. When you see her there all you need to do is just ignore her. Look right through her and give your date all the attentions she wants.

Dont fawn over her at all
After a couple of rounds of ignoring her, your ex will walk up to you to speak to you. Now dont go and fawn over her as she will then see the game you were playing. Be civil and cordial with her. Let her initiate the moves and you play along. Be a little hard to get so that she never takes you for granted again. How to handle an ex girlfriend

0

I came here wanting an opinion of maybe some people that have been in my shoes. I dont think my friends understand the situation and have really done a great job just making me move along, but they dont feel what I feel.

Here it is.... I worked with a girl when I was a Sophomore in College and she was a Senior in High School. We knew each other since she was 16 and never really thought about dating at all since she was very young. As time progressed and she got older... I got to know her really well. We went on a trip together as friends with no plans and we really hit it off. Long story short, we spent a lot of time together over the summer before she left to go to college out of state and we decided there was a bond and we would try to make this thing work long distance

Lets cut to the chase, the relationship was great.. GOOD COMMUNICATION the whole time, I was really close to her family and would eat dinner over there even without her. My parents treated her so well and they would even text her once in awhile. it was great besides the distance. We made it work, we would see eachother every month 1/2 around and we stayed positive knowing at one point we would be together. We never fought and we had a TON of trust. 2 years went by like this with no problem.

THEN... she moved in with 7 other people and I trusted her but they became the "party house." She never really had a period of time to let loose i guess and party it up. She stayed at my house for a month this past summer and i think the commitment scared her off. She met some guy she had feelings for, told me about it and was very open. She didnt cheat, she explained she felt weird and for the first time she didnt run off when someone hit on her like she usually would. It got her so confused and crazy and eventually I ended it. It was hard on both of us... this was in Sept.

Now, November rolls around and she notices I am with another girl. I am sure she got jealous, maybe thought I would wait around while she figured stuff out... but i didnt. I moved along... I kept communication open with her and said now is not the time. She still is in school for another yr and a half. She writes me a letter saying how she made a mistake, she loves me, im the one she wants to marry etc. I sent her a text saying I will take it to heart. She then writes something like, "I meant every word, I dont know whats wrong with me." I then flew to her state to see a mutual friend and she found out and sent me a text saying it was weird i was in her state and I didnt tell her so obviously I dont want to see her. She said she is going to stop contacting me now for now on and I should enjoy my stay.

Look, I still love her to death, i know deep down she is the one but maybe got blinded like i said with some influences from her friends. I did not respond to her last 2 texts out of respect to my new partner (we are not official but we act like it as of right now). Things are good, but i also feel bad not texting her back. She basically left me for another man and states she loves me still and all this stuff but then doesnt act on it. I even told her if it was me in her situation, I would have been at her door asking to talk.... nothing. I told her last time we spoke on the phone that we need to support eachother and i forgive her for what she did but dont know if I could forget. I love her and her family so much but I just feel like she might be playing games and not even knowing it. I feel she shouldnt want to see me and should put that effort into her new man that she chose to have relations with. I just want to shake her and guide her but I know I can not be the one to do that. How should I approach this with her contact. She says she doesnt want to contact me again but I know she will. Is she just young? Not contacting her the best thing?

Please help guys and girls!

Thanks

How to get ex girlfriend back from rebound

0

If you have suddenly found that your relationship is over and your ex is all of a sudden dating another guy, you can use this to your advantage. Getting your ex girlfriend back is actually easier for you if there is a rebound relationship in play.

How do you know if she is on the rebound?

The easiest way to tell is by the personality of the new bloke she is dating. You may be a person that goes clubbing with your mates at the weekends and the new guy is often the complete opposite from yourself and enjoy staying in at the weekends. The behaviour differentials are what makes the new bloke, the typical rebound. He becomes a replacement for the one true love that isnt there anymore.

There is going to be something that was missing between you both that your ex girl feels the need to replace within her life. Elements that you may not have given her. If she needed to feel close to you and didnt, the bond may not have met her needs. While she does have true feelings for you, she needs that bit more and may have ended it on a rash decision not properly thought over. This in turn creates a need to fill the gap she now has in her life.

The key to getting your ex girlfriend back when a rebound relationship is in play is to let it run its course. She will realize in her own time what aspects it is about you that she loves the most. Dont go chasing after her to convince her that you are the man for her. Let your ex find that out for herself. She needs to come to her own conclusions. Dating someone on the rebound is always a short-term fixed and rarely works out, so dont feel threatened that you may lose her for good. The new guy will be the opposite to your personality and you are going to be getting compared to him constantly in her mind. She will continue to think about you in comparison and remember all your good traits more than the difficult times. Over time she discovers everything she misses about you and will seek your company again.

When she does get in to a position where you find she is getting closer to rekindling your relationship, dont promise her all the changes in the world to make you a better partner. Only promise what you can stick to. You don t want to overdo the changes of yourself that she fell in love with to start with. Simple things like being more considerate to her feelings is a promise that can be kept without changing yourself too much.

How to get rid of an ex girlfriend

The psychotic signs

There is evidence that some women are more susceptible to destructive behavior than others. The goal is to spot these gals before things get out of control, and know how to handle a potentially dangerous situation.

Shes irrationally jealous
A little jealousy can be healthy for the relationship, but when it becomes irrational and leads your lovebird to start testing you or checking up on you every hour on the hour when youre apart, you might have a potential stalker on your hands.

Be wary of women who call a few times late at night or even in the early hours of the morning. Some women even go as low as getting one of their girlfriends to seduce you in order to test your loyalty and see if youll bite.

She commits embarrassing public displays
If she likes to scream and scold you loudly and in public, then shes showing early signs of an individual who likes to have control at all costs -- including embarrassment -- to achieve her goals.

Shes emotionally unstable
If you cant tell the difference between her being happy, mad or sad by looking at her facial expressions, then you might have a problem.

Sure women are known to be emotional, but that doesnt mean that she has to cry every five minutes when she doesnt get what she wants. Be especially careful with those women who end their crocodile tears with loud, devilish laughter.

She controls your life
Your new favorite color is pink, apparently tofu tastes better than steak, figure skating has become more exciting than hockey, and now you absolutely cringe when looking at beautiful women with big breasts.

Be cautious of women who like to impose their likes and dislikes upon men -- especially those who say, "I know you dont like it honey, but trust me, what Im doing will be good for the relationship. Youll thank me one day."

She needs constant attention
She cannot spend a moment without speaking to you, or calls your portable phone, your home, pages you, then calls your portable, your home, and then back to your portable, your home, and leaves the following message: "I know youre home, pick up the phone." Then calls your portable phone, your home, pages you, then calls your portable... you get the point.

She makes paranoid assumptions
If you cant come home late from work (Im talking 5 minutes late here) without her asking to smell your penis, or if you happen to look at another woman, and she asks, "So would you f*ck her? Huh? Would you f*ck her, you bastard?", then you might be in bigger trouble than you think.

Caution, if that devilish voice of hers makes it back into the conversation, you might want to keep your mouth shut for your own safety -- especially if she starts laughing like that guy in Michael Jacksons "Thriller."

Shes a habitual liar
At first, it was funny that she never really had a little dog named Fido. The white lie she told you about never getting your mothers dinner invitation was harmless. The fib she told you about being a dance instructor was strange. The lie she told you about not following you to work was scary. Do you see a pattern here?

Handling the situation

Someone in a normal situation will just end the relationship, but in this particular predicament, you have to take careful steps so that you dont make the situation worse. What usually drives her to act in such an irrational way is her certainty that you are the best person for her and she must keep you at all costs.

Here are some of the steps you might consider in order to prevent her from becoming a psycho-girlfriend after a breakup:

Dont treat her badly
If youre mean to her, shell stick to you like a moth to a flame. Remember, the fact that youre even more unattainable makes her attraction all the more fatal. Be nice; those are the guys that usually finish last, and thats where you want to be on her list.

Become crazier
If she begins to believe that youre not her soul mate, or that youre the psycho, then she might consider moving on.

Do a background check
In extreme cases, you should consider snooping into her past. Ask her friends and family about her past relationships, or try speaking to her ex-boyfriends. And yes, it is definitely a bad sign if there are no traces of any of her past lovers.

Cover your back
Before actually going through with the breakup, make sure you have all your angles covered. You dont want to do anything that will make her resentful towards you and eventually seek revenge on you or your future lover.

Be aware
She might begin following or spying on you to see if youre with another woman. I recommend that you hold off on bringing another woman into your life until youre sure that the Firecracker is completely out of the way.

Keep records and reports with authorities
If she begins to stalk you or make threats, report it to the police right away. You need to have a history of complaints in order to cover your back if and when she decides to make false accusations against you. Keeping records and opening a file on your particular case will also help with the restraining order -- if needed, of course.

Get a restraining order
If you find that you cannot lead a normal life without constantly watching your back out of fear of Firecracker retaliation, then maybe it is time to take legal action.

Move away
A restraining order serves as a wakeup call, letting the Firecracker know that youre serious about no longer wanting to see her.

However, it only works on people who are willing to follow it; it doesnt necessarily mean that youre out of danger. If you feel that shes still an explosive hazard, then move to another city without leaving a trace.

Its not normal

If you feel like youre walking on eggshells or cant communicate with her without suffering her wrath every single time -- especially if you feel stressed, scared or nauseous -- then chances are youre dating a Firecracker.

Dating and being in love should be fun. Although not always a walk in the park, it should not result in the suffocation of a persons freedoms. If you feel that you have no rights or no say in the relationship, then maybe its time to end the relationship in its early stages before things really get out of hand.

How to have a conversation with your ex girlfriend

0

What is one thing that all relationships need in order to survive? Fun and exciting dates? Definitely nice to keep the relationship feeling new. Respect? Extremely important for both sides, but not necessarily what I was looking for. Love? That will most certainly help but not quite there. So what could it be? Well my friends, I believe that the one thing you need in order for a relationship to survive is simply communication. Its impossible for a relationship to succeed, or survive for that matter, at all if you cant communicate your thoughts and feelings effectively towards each other.

At the moment I happen to be a part of a long distance relationship, so I know just how important it is to be able to communicate with your partner. But this hub isnt to talk about how to have communication in a relationship, but how to use communication to rekindle and rebuild it. Here are five tips I believe should be easy to put into practice that will help push your relationship with your ex girlfriend back on track.

Tip 1. I have written this before and I know it may be very hard to follow, but the best thing you can really do at first is to take some time away from your ex. To open communication you must first cut off communication. Kind of contradictory to the point of this hub.

The reason you want to take time away from you ex girlfriend is because everyone needs space. If your girlfriend just dumped you then something obviously must have gone wrong so you need to give her some time and especially space to sort through her thoughts and feelings.

If you have ever been the dumper then you know how hard (or even annoying) it can be when your ex keeps begging you to come back or wont give you your space. It kind of even makes it easier to say no to them doesnt it? So give your ex her space. Dont give her the chance to say no like that.

Tip 2. The biggest issue when trying to contact your ex girlfriend is to figure out how often to do it and especially when to do it. You dont want to start spamming her inbox, freaking her out, and ending up pushing her farther away. Instead, you want to leave little messages, whether it be on her Facebook wall or a text to her phone, that are easy-going and non-threatening like, "Hey, whats up?" or "Hows it going?"

You might be thinking, "How is this going to help win my ex girlfriend back?" Well by leaving her little notes or messages like this it shows her that you still have interest and that if she is still interested she is free to contact you back.

Tip 3. Get a conversation going. Dont try calling her on the phone or seeing her in person just yet. Have a text message conversation, email, or wall-to-wall on Facebook. Try not to get too lovey-dovey with it though. Keep it in a safe area like how their day is going or what they have been up to.

You want to do this so that by the time you see each other in person you wont have that awkward silence and ruin your chances of getting back together with your ex girlfriend right then and there. Keep your conversations at this level until you believe that youre comfortable enough to be able to keep a conversation going in person.

Books on Communication

Tip 4. Get her to meet up with you in person. There are many ways you can approach this; depending on your situation. For me, my ex and I were pretty comfortable after talking online for a while so I had no trouble asking her to meet me in person. But you might not have the same luck.

One way to get your ex girlfriend to meet you in person, if theyre not comfortable seeing you yet, can be found here. I know the article talks about getting them to answer your call or text but the tip farther down can be helpful in getting your ex girlfriend to meet up with you if they still happen to feel uncomfortable still about meeting you in person.

Tip 5. The last tip I can leave you is just to be patient. You cant change how your ex girlfriend feels about you or return to how your relationship used to be over night. Dont try to force things into happening. Give you and your ex girlfriend time and space to ease back into the relationship.

Remember, these tips are just that, tips. So you dont have to follow them exactly as I say them in black and white. Every relationship is different and thus require different approaches in order to get them to work. But these are some things that have worked for me before in the past so Im here to share them with you now.

So remember, if you are wondering, "how can I win back my ex girlfriend?": take some time away from her and give her her space; leave little messages for her to show her that it is okay for her to contact you; get a conversation going with her either through text messages or online; meet with her in person; and just be patient. Give your relationship time to rebuild itself naturally without forcing it into a particular direction. Now go get em tiger!

How to hate your ex girlfriend

0

Breaking up with a partner can sometimes be traumatic. Even though you saw it coming or made it happen yourself, you may not be ready for the impact of the break-up. Suddenly you are alone and no longer part of a couple. It feels like a giant missile burst up on your life crushing your dreams and aspirations, leaving your daily existence a strange and difficult place to be.

The feelings you are assailed with are many. It may be anger, hurt, insecurity, sadness, depression, self-revulsion and rage.   ‘I hate my ex’ is a common statement of a girl or boy who has just experienced a break-up. Hatred for the partner and self-loathing are the two common emotions experienced by a person who has broken up with his partner.

The feelings after a break-up may be overwhelming. The difficult part is that there are no ground rules for recovering, healing and moving on. From the rubble, you have to pick up the pieces and move on. Firstly you have to deal with anger. It is good to acknowledge the feelings of anger at first but it is best not to act on them. So you must release all that pent up rage somehow, like taking kickboxing classes or writing hate mail to your ex, which you never send. Even punch a few pillows and talk to your friends about your anger. The good thing is that, like all negative emotions that are expressed, these emotions will also fade away. Meanwhile you have to find your own stress busters.

Feelings of guilt are also common. You may wonder what exactly that you did which caused her to break up with you.  There is a lot of soul searching and self-criticism involved here to blame oneself for the break-up. The events of your past keep being replayed in your mind. But here you must give yourself a break and think positively about yourself. You must seek the company of friends and family to feel good about yourself. Instead of ruing over what went wrong and what you should have done differently, you must give yourself positive points for getting out of a doomed relationship.

Dealing with a break up involves the following steps:

1. Acceptance

Coming to terms that the relationship is over. This is a difficult stage, because we delay letting go and ending a bad relationship, with the hope that somehow things may improve, but they will not. Acceptance involves taking the step of closure, ending the relationship formally, so that no loose ends remain to tempt or worry you.

2. Understanding why it ended

This involves honest self-searching about why the relationship ended and what went wrong from the view of both partners. This maybe useful for the health of your future relationships. This also means avoiding the ‘If only’, ‘What if’ type of analysis that is self-defeating.

3. Grieving the loss

Give yourself time to mourn and pick up the pieces of your shattered life. It could be anything from a week to a year. Give yourself outlets to mourn - the shoulder of a relative or a friend, keeping a journal, talking with a counsellor or taking quiet walks by yourself.

4. Redirect your life

Bring a new meaning in your life by taking up new activities, making new friends, doing things which you always of dreamt but postponed etc. You will soon be drawn into the joyful currents of life and healed of your painful wounds.

To redirect your life and move on to a better and happier life you can:

Set new goals - Instead of being content with your present status, set new goals for yourself. Like improving your cricket or basketball. This will give you new skills and also an avenue to meet new people.

Throw away objects that remind you of the ex - Time to forget the old and ring in the new. Burn letters and photos if it disturbs your mind. Keep all memorabilia in deep storage.

Treat yourself gently - Pamper yourself with your favourite food, wine, sporting events, music, movies, vacation etc. Dress well, eat well.

Surround yourself with happy, positive people - They will lift your mind off the trauma of your break-up and get you laughing about the lighter things in life.

Volunteer to help the less fortunate - By helping others in need, you will appreciate better your current situation and feel less miserable and more fulfilled.

Remember why it didn’t work - Remembering past mistakes will help you to avoid them in future and make you a better person. Also, remembering the hurt caused by your ex will help you get over her faster and better.

Accept your sadness and be very kind to yourself - Do not pressurize yourself. Take time away from work if necessary. Buy books and attend workshops. Seek the help of a grief counsellor.

Create a formal  farewell ritual - If your relationship needs closure, create a comforting farewell ritual like burning letters and souvenirs. Or dumping her unwanted things into a river and bidding farewell.

Count your blessing every day - Take every day as a miracle with so many things to thank God for. It shifts focus from what you have,  away from  what you don’t have.

Compliment yourself - Make a list of your good qualities and remind yourself of them  often, to feel positive about yourself.

Go on a personal development workshop - where you will  brighten your self-image as well as meet interesting people wanting to improve their own lives.

5. Dealing with rejection

Having someone break up with you gives a blow to your self-esteem. It can lead to negative emotions like sadness and anger. Here you have to learn to be kind to yourself. Pamper yourself with pleasurable activities and positive vibes and do not generalize this rejection to future partners. Avoid thoughts like I am fat, I am stupid and other self-critical thoughts. Remember the positives and negatives of your ex in a realistic light.

Try not to deal with rejection in the following negative ways:
  • Chasing the girl thinking she will take you back
  • Isolating yourself
  • Drinking heavily or drug abuse
  • Jumping into another relationship to stop feeling lonely
  • Wallowing in depression
6. Growing emotionally from the experience

Through  the experience of  a failed romantic relationship, one can discover more about oneself and identify interpersonal needs. Once you grow through these six stages, you are ready to move on. From hating your ex, it is time to forget and forgive and fall in love again, perhaps with the best girl/boy out there for you.

How to get rid of his ex girlfriend

0

So, when your boyfriend calls his ex three times to tell her he wants to end their "friendship" (which really was just her using him), to explain why, and to tell her not to call anymore...
and she keeps calling and text messaging, so he changes his cell phone number,
and then she starts emailing, so he gets a new email address,
and then she finally starts calling his friends (who she met while they dated but never was friends with them herself) and nobody knows how she got the number...

what do you do? (short of a restraining order)

I dont want to call her myself because it is immature and it wont work anyway.

We are ignoring her obviously, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

She is freaking me out- she has a history with mental imbalance, and one voicemail will be angry, the next in tears, the next sounding rational. When they were friends he told her my full name and some info about me, so now I watch my back walking through parking lots if you know what I mean.

He has the same home phone number as when they dated...but he lives with family who dislikes her so that is probably what has kept her at bay so far...

He has moved since they dated but she would only need to look in the phone book to get his new address...
They go to the same small college which consists of one building, pretty easy to find someone there, they will both be heading back in the Fall...

And he drives the same car as when they dated, which has two small yet unique stickers that could indicate it is his.

How to hook up with your ex girlfriend

0

With Christmas right around the corner, everyones getting a little busy with shopping and travel plans. And many of us will soon be getting a little busy with ex-girlfriends back home.
Hooking up with an ex over the holidays is a winter tradition that almost everyone shares at some point. Maybe youve already sent friendly text messages to gauge your chances. (For example, "Youre not married now, right?") However, its not always the best idea. Well give you the pros and cons of nostalgic nookie with your hometown hottie.

PROS

1. You Already Know Each Other

Hooking up with someone new is exciting, but it takes so much effort: introducing yourself, coming across smoothly, finding a graceful exit if shes into something super weird. With your ex, though, youre in familiar territory. You know what she likes, she knows what you like. Its not the thrill of the unknown, but youll probably have an okay time.

2. The (Sexy) Ghost of Christmas Future

If you and your ex are fine with hooking up over the holidays, theres a chance it can happen again next December, and the December after that. Plus, itll make visiting for a wedding or a reunion or (hopefully not) a funeral slightly more exciting.

3. What Else Are You Gonna Do?

After a while, sitting on your parents couch and watching their HBO can get boring. You remember that you left this town for a reason: Theres just nothing going on. At least hooking up with your ex will give you something to do if youve already seen "The Hobbit."

CONS

1. Fighting Where You Left Off

You broke up with your ex for a reason, and that reason might become very apparent after a few drinks. You could wind up arguing about something that happened two years ago as if it happened yesterday. Instead of hooking up, the night ends with you refusing to apologize for that time you got drunk at her sisters wedding and got in a fight with the DJ.

2. You Risk Getting Re-Attached

Its always a bad idea to hook up with your ex if one of you still has feelings for the other. If shes not over the relationship (and you are), just go for someone else. If youre not over the relationship (and she is), youll just prolong the time it takes to move on.

3. Been There, Done That

With an ex, youre regressing. Youre trying to recapture whats already gone. And besides, you might be missing out on someone new. Try your luck with the girl from high school you always had a crush on back when you were too shy to even say hello. Who knows, maybe she felt the same way. Why not give it a shot?
