Dealing with Stress Using Natural Ways

0

By Dee J Cohen

Its normal to listen to folks discuss being stressed, needing a mental health day off from work and being weighed down by lifes challenges. A short time ago in the news it was reported that somebody stabbed his leg in order to not go to work the following day. Sadly, we are not taught stress reduction tips in school and our anxiety usually just builds up without a healthy release.

Though people use music as texting as a way to relax, these ways also can result in increased anxiety. Typically hearing a song associated with a past relationship will create a deep sadness and sense of being lost. Texting will also end up becoming quite tense as angry exchanges and disappointments can occur as things arent going in step with our hopes or plans.

Catching our negative thoughts are helpful before they sprout and become unmanageable. As an example, if you begin telling yourself that youll never get a job, no one will ever love you or that youre a disappointment to your family take a deep breath. Dont keep feeding these thoughts, however instead see that this is a pattern that you just fall into that isnt healthy.

Slow, deep breathing with a short pause when you inhale with after you exhale is useful for quieting the mind. Try to try to to this in a quiet spot some times a day. It can be done while you drive, sit on a subway or perhaps during a break at work.

Physical exercise is a sensible way to get out of the thought patterns that dominate us. Realize something you prefer and will stick with in order to be consistent. For instance, if you hate jogging or the gym, consider long walks outside or swimming.

Evaluate whether or not your friends are all good for you or if they may contribute to the problem. Do they fall into unhealthy habits that you also engage in? Do you decide people that are critical or that continually want to be bailed out?

Examine the aspects of your friendships that may want to be discussed and changed. If certain relationships seem terribly destructive than question whether or not it is sensible to have them in your life or if youre better off with somebody that nourishes your energy and spirit.

We have a tendency to can change our moods and stop previous patterns by increasing our consciousness and gaining perspective. Remember that a lot of situations will not be gripping in a week which we dont want to amplify them. - 30535

I Miss My Ex Girlfriend

0

When you find yourself saying “I miss my ex girlfriend,” you need to find ways to move forward with your life.  No matter how bad the break up was, there is life after your ex.  Finding your way through the depression that follows the end of the relationship can be hard.  That’s why you need to take concrete actions to move forward.
First of all, you need to work on bringing closure to the relationship.  Closure is the process by which you move on from a situation.  While you may find specific situations in which you say, “I miss my ex girlfriend,” you will not be in this state all of the time.
Begin by definitively saying that the relationship is over.  As long as you think there is a chance that you can get your ex back, you will not be able to move on.  Healing begins with putting an end to the relationship.
Next, you need to physically close the relationship.  You do that by exchanging all of the possessions in the other’s care.  Give her back the toothbrush and curling iron she kept at your house and ask her for the sweat shirt that she had borrowed for the long term.  If you owed each other money, settle up.
Once you have your possessions back, give yourself some physical space.  While you may want to remain friends with your ex in the long run, staying away in the short term will facilitate healing.  Don’t call, text, or email each other.  If she tries to contact you, screen her out.
And, don’t show up at places she is likely to be.  You don’t want to give her any opening to get under your skin.  Seeing her with another guy so soon will just prompt feelings of “I miss my ex girlfriend” all over again.
You may even need to change some of your social habits.  If you go to a small church, you might want to consider changing places of worship at least in the short term.  You may have to pick a new favorite bar or hang out as well.
When you start going new places, you will inevitably meet new people.  Some of these people will be female.  These new women are good prospects for dates.
While it may seem right now that you’ll never want to date another woman, the truth is that the sooner you get back on the dating scene, the sooner you will begin to heal.
It may not be enough to just be available though.  Consider actively seeking out women.  Take a class at the local university’s extension program.  Join a co-ed softball team.  Take up a new hobby.  All of these strategies will allow you to start meeting new women.
If a woman intrigues you, ask her out even if you can’t picture yourself in a long term relationship with her.  A date is just a fun social experience, not a commitment.
Pretty soon, you won’t be saying “I miss my ex girlfriend” nearly as frequently.  You will have moved on with your life.

Im Having Trouble Dealing With Break Up

0

When you are having trouble dealing with break up it is only natural. There is nothing to be ashamed of because everyone does. The important thing to do is to decide how you are going to dealing with break up.
You have two ways that you can go about dealing with break up. The first is to let it tear you apart. The second is to overcome it and become stronger because of it. There is a saying that that whatever doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger but that all depends on your attitude and how you decide you will be dealing with break up.
This break up may have been the most devastating thing you have gone through but you don’t have to let it destroy you. What makes you a survivor is you deciding that this moment will not define you. A marriage ending in divorce or any type of relationship ending is difficult. If it was due to someone’s infidelity or an affair then you may have self-esteem issues that you need to get some counseling to help you through it. The same is especially true if there was abuse of any kind involved. If you were on either side of those issues, seek some help. Dealing with break up for any reason can cause some long-term problems if they aren’t dealt with soon.
When you are dealing with break up you want to be strong after you have gone through all of it. By deciding that you are going to come out a winner and stronger you are going to be helping yourself by giving yourself some positive focus and good goals to achieve. Don’t let this consume you. You have to be able to move on. Winning this is learning that there is life after this relationship and finding that life.
Also, don’t decide that you just want to survive, decide that you are going to THRIVE! Realize that your best days are ahead of you. Wake up each morning trying to focus on what good things can come on this day and try to be excited about what tomorrow holds. Focus on the good things that life has to offer. Life is over just because that relationship ended. You don’t have to lie to yourself and others. Believe that today is a gift and that you are fortunate because you have an unopened gift waiting for you just around the corner.  Once you start believing that, you won’t have any more problems dealing with the breakup.
Breaking up is hard to do but it is only as devastating as you let it be. A nasty breakup doesn’t have to be the end of you. It can and will be a new beginning. The breakup of a relationship doesnt have to bring the breaking up of your life. If you build a new foundation from the ruins of this tough breakup, chances are that you will have no problem dealing with break up in the future.
